Come early for the Petting Zoo for ticket holders at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm, then enjoy an interactive performance, plus a special program book just for the kids!


According to Artistic Director Victoria Gau, this concert is going to have a lot of "wow-COOL" factor!

PLEASE NOTE: RECOMMENDED FOR AGES 7 to 12. This concert is geared towards older Elementary School age children and some content may not be appropriate for toddlers/pre-school age children.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please, no more than 4 children per adult.

The Summoning of Everyman is a rare opportunity to artistically reflect on life and how we perceive death. It's a journey worth taking. -- DC Metro Theater Arts

Edge of the Universe Players 2 present the timeless Medieval morality play, The Summoning of Everyman. God becomes angry at human behavior and orders Death to summon Everyman to trial. Great entertainment that explores subjects at the heart of human existence.

Join our group of Traveling Players and Musicians as they enact the story of Everyman, filled with suspense, music, dance, humor, and the depths of emotion.

Three generations of WSC Avant Bard Artistic Directors converge for this Harold Pinter favorite, an acting vehicle of stunning depth and resonance. "No Man’s Land" features a fallen poet and his drunken dispute with a mysterious stranger over success, adventures and romantic conquests. WSC Artistic Director Emeritus Christopher Henley teams up with his predecessor, Brian Hemmingsen, to star in this play of wit, deceit, and the battle between memory and imagination. The production has been staged by new Artistic Director Tom Prewitt. WSC Avant Bard Acting Company Member Frank Britton and local favorite Bruce Rauscher round out the cast.

CELLIST BRANNON CHO, now 17, started his cello studies at the age of 7 with Marnie Kaller in NJ. At an early age, he won First Prize in several competitions including the Grand Prize in the New Jersey American String Teachers Association (ASTA) competition. After being accepted into the Meadowmount School of Music at age 10, he continued his studies there for 5 summers with a Merit scholarship.

Brannon made his debut with the Colonial Symphony in 2008 and recently performed the Dvorak Cello Concerto with the Richardson Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Anshel Brusilow. In 2010, Brannon was a Runner-up in From the Top’s “Big Break” contest, and subsequently performed in Carnegie Hall and on From the Top’s radio show. He was the First Prize winner of the 2011 Lennox International String Competition, Grand Prize winner of the 2011 ASTA National Competition, 2nd Prize winner at Stulberg competition 2012 and the First Prize winner at Johansen International Competition. On January, 2012, Brannon gave a master class and performed as a guest artist in the Eastern Washington University's "Cellobration." Brannon is currently a student of Hans Jørgen Jensen.
