Gottaswing.com presents a swing dance with the SingCo Rhythm Orchestra. SRO bandleader Doug Bowles is Rudy Vallee, Cab Calloway, Fred Astaire and Harry Connick, Jr., all rolled into one! His vast experience in front of audiences, coupled with a naturally bubbly, zany personality and excellent musicianship combine to make him one of the best front men you’ll ever find. SRO plays all the standard greats of the Big Band Swing Era, with a style that will convince you that you’ve stepped into another decade.
Beginner swing lesson with Tom & Debra, 8 - 9 pm; dancing with the band from 9pm - midnight.

Recommended Ages: All ages welcome

Come join Doug Bowles and the SRO as we feature some of our favorite arrangements! SingCo appears in its 1920s instrumentation (10 piece band with added violin). Doug Bowles leads and directs his band in a wonderful one hour concert of some of the best big band and dance band music of the mid-20s to the mid-40s. The marvelous Cindy Hutchins joins the band to sing some of her favorite numbers.
