The Capital City Symphony is DC's premiere community orchestra, bringing together doctors, lawyers, scientists and politicians and many others into a collaborative musical environment. The Capital City Symphony performs standard symphonic repertoire and explores the best of 20th and 21st-century music, presenting 4 full concerts each year, as well as occasional chamber music concerts.

In a city rich with choral music, the 120-member Capitol Hill Chorale has built its own unique identity and devoted following. Known for its versatility and enduring musicianship, the Chorale's repertoire ranges from early music to jazz to major works with large orchestras. Founded by longtime Capitol Hill resident Parker Jayne, the Chorale attracts singers from Capitol Hill and the entire metropolitan area.
